  1. Synchronize! can copy files slowly, or very quickly.
  2.  
  3. Use the copying speed control to set the rate at which copying proceeds. The larger the number, the faster copying will proceed.

  5. Numbers 1 through 4 are useful for copying to or from a server while you work on your Mac.
  6.  
  7. Numbers 5 through 7 are useful for copying files to and from a floppy disk.
  8.  
  9. Numbers 8 through 10 are for copying as fast as possible. These settings are useful for copying from one hard disk to another, at rates which are faster than the Finder normally copies files.
